Day 1: Live croc feeding, airboat tours at Matt Wright’s Top End Safari Camp
Day 2: Full Day Heli Pub Crawl to 5 Top End venues and 2 hours barra fishing included.
Day 3: Chopper flight to Daly River for a BBQ Hotplate lunch and Heli Fishing experience.

For 2-3 pax bookings the maximum individual passenger weight for an R44 is 131kg and combined passenger weight is 270kg, please enquire if you exceed this weight limit.

Day 1
$1,430 pp
Beginning with a 30-minute scenic flight over Bynoe Harbour and the Finniss River Wetlands, where you’ll spot buffalo and wild pigs.
Land at the Top End Safari Camp, where you will jump on an airboat ride through the wetlands to get up close with big crocs. Then back to the croc enclosures where we will feed some of our big problem crocs. Sit back and relax by the pool and bar area out at the camp!
Hop in the chopper for a 20 min scenic flight back to base.
Day 2

- Chopper straight to Dundee Beach – Arrive as the doors open and dive right in.
- Sandpalms Roadhouse
- Darwin River Tavern
- Barramundi Adventures – Catch a barra while you’re there!
- Noonamah Tavern

Day 3
$2,575 pp
Fly straight to the Daly River region where you will get straight into some heli fishing action in the morning.
Enjoy a BBQ hotplate lunch before your chopper will take you out for an afternoon of Barra action. Helifish your way back downstream of the Daly into the salt water to try and catch some big fish.
Chopper flight back to base with a dropoff at Noonamah Tavern on the way, Job Done!
Minimum 2 pax.
Maximum individual passenger weight for an R44 is 131kg (2-3 pax booking) and for a Bell 206 is 145kg.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a cancellation policy?
A 50% refund (minus associated fees) will be issued if a booking is cancelled 3 days before tour departure.
Nil refund for bookings cancelled within 3 days of tour departure.
Nil refund if a passenger is denied boarding due to passenger weights exceeding those provided on bookings, resulting in exceedance of an aircrafts maximum take-off weight.
The full booking amount will be charged for no shows.
In the event of passenger illness, with a medical certificate, FRH will reschedule the flight.
Cancellations must be made only via phone call to 0477 619 303 or in writing, emailed to office@helitoursdarwin.com.au. Please ensure you receive a cancellation confirmation, cancellations via text message will not be accepted.
What happens if the weather is bad or if it is raining on the day of our bookings?
We closely monitor weather conditions on a daily basis and our staff will endeavour to provide passengers with as much notice as possible and updates on current weather circumstances however, we cannot always guarantee we will be able to achieve this as weather conditions are often unpredictable.
Please read the ‘Cancellation & Changes by FRH’ and ‘Weather Conditions’ sections of our Terms and Conditions for further information.
Can we talk during the flight?
Yes, you will be fitted with headsets that enable passengers and the pilot to talk to each other during the flight.
Do you provide transfers?
Tour transfers are an additional cost per day and can be added on at tour checkout.

What does the alcohol package include?
The alcohol package is for bookings of the full tour (3 or 4 days) and includes drinks provided during transport, charters, and outside of licensed venues.
Drinks will be organised by HTD, passengers can requested preferred drinks or we will choose for you!
The drinks package is not included for bookings of individual tour days.
Can we customise the Alpha Trail?
Yes certainly, the Alpha Trail days can be booked individually or as a multi day trip at our checkout.
Do we get to keep the fish caught on the tour?
No, we do not take any fish home, we only catch and release.
